There’s no doubt that finishing in the bottom of your fantasy league will have you completely out of sorts. Whether you’re playing against your mates or your colleagues, you want to be on top. And that’s where Snickers comes in.

We can’t guarantee you first place, but we’ll make sure you have the best shot. Tip number one? Don’t build your team while you’re hungry. Let a Snickers chocolate bar sort you out first. You’re welcome.

Our best tips

First off, drafting your team. Prioritize drafting star players in the early rounds, but don't skip over those undervalued talents. Balance your lineup by picking players from different positions. Having depth in your team can help you manage any injuries that crop up.

Speaking of injuries… when it happens on your team, switch your lineup around ASAP. If the player’s expected to return later in the season, it might be a good idea to keep them in your reserves.

Don't chase points. It’s tempting to grab last week’s high scorers. But consistency is key in fantasy football. A player who scores moderate points may be more valuable in the long run than one who has an occasionally brilliant game.

When it comes to transfers, be strategic. Figure out where your team is strong and where it’s weak. Trade for players who can fill those gaps and round out your lineup.

Trust your gut. Doing your research and weighing the stats is important, no doubt about it. But if you’ve got a hunch that a player is going to have a great season (or completely blow it), listen to it. You’re the team manager after all, right?

We’d like to say fantasy football is all down to the strategy. But there’s a bit of luck involved too. Either way, staying committed and leaning into these tips will hopefully earn you some bragging rights – and save you from an out-of-sorts moment after coming in last. Good luck out there.
